GUARANTEE AND
RETURNS POLICY

Yarn Forward guarantees that all goods are of finest quality and are free from manufacturing defects. If not, we will replace them or refund your purchase price.

RETURNS

Some restrictions apply. Please read carefully.

All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice. Contact us first by email, fax or phone to let us know what you are returning.

We can only give a refund when we receive the returned goods and receive a copy of the invoice. If you insure the goods, you will have proof of mailing if the goods are lost. We cannot give a refund if we do not receive the goods.

Mark the goods "Goods returned to vendor." on the outside of the package. Only return goods by mail. If you use a courier, we have to pay entry fees which will be deducted from your refund.

Yarn

If you have any yarn left over, or just change your mind, send back the yarn within three months of our shipping date and get a full refund, excluding the shipping charges. EXCEPTION. Special orders require a 50% non refundable deposit to be paid at the time of order. You will be advised if your order is a special order. These are usually limited to extra large orders or orders which require us to obtain yarn which we do not normally carry.

We guarantee that when we ship yarn, one colour is of all the same dye lot. We cannot guarantee to match dye lots at a later date. If you are in doubt about how much yarn you need, take an extra ball or two, and get a refund when the project is finished if you have any left over.

Needles

Needles may be returned for a refund if returned to us within 14 days. Sorry, but we cannot give refunds after 14 days. (Some of you are fast knitters!)

Kits

Unopened kits can be returned for a refund within one month of our shipping date. We cannot take returns on opened kits.

Patterns, Books, Printed Material and Software

We do not accept returns on patterns, books and printed material. We cannot take returns on software. If a product is clearly defective, we will replace it at our cost.

General

All items returned must be in good condition and unused, unless the item is being returned because of a manufacturing defect.

You may elect to receive a refund, or we will give you a credit on another order. The choice is yours. If you purchased the goods by credit card, then refunds are credited to the original credit card which was used to purchase the goods. We do not refund our shipping charges. If your original order qualified for free shipping, and the value of the return is such that the value of the remaining goods would not qualify for free shipping, then we reserve the right to withhold an amount equivalent to the shipping charge when we process the refund. You are responsible for paying the shipping charges to return to the goods to us. We recommend that you insure the parcel.
